FASHION TV CONTENT GUIDELINES


SHOOTING FORMAT

Footage must be recorded as Native 1080p. If using multiple cameras ensure all cameras are equally white balanced. Please call and verify with Fashion TV if you have any questions about the camera you will be using and the shooting format.


VIMEO UPLOAD

When uploading to Vimeo, please use the following settings:

  • Video:
  • Compression: MP4 H.264
  • Data Rate: 30 Mbps
  • Frame Size: 1920 x 1080
  • Frame Rate: 25 FPS

FASHION TV CORPORATE GUIDELINES




CORPORATE SIGNATURE

  1. The corporate signature is the major visual element of the brand identity and comprises the logo type (Fashion TV) and the square logo in a fixed relationship.

  2. The logo type is the primary and preferred mark and should be used for the majority of applications.

  3. Artwork Integrity
    The square logo and the logo type are unique to Fashion TV, never attempt to recreate it. The corporate signatures must always be reproduced from original digital artwork supplied by the Creative Services Department.

  4. Usage
    The corporate signature is used to brand all corporate stationery items and it should be used in all marketing materials.

CORPORATE COLOURS

  1. Fashion TV's corporate colours are pink, dark grey and white.

  2. Colour reproduction
    Colours may be reproducced using specially mixed colours or may be simulated using the four colour halftone process (see breakdown charts).

COLOUR REPRODUCTION OF THE CORPORATE SIGNATURE

  1. Preferred colour versions
    Whenever possible Fashion TV corporate signatures should be reproduce in pink, dark grey and white on very light background colors.

    On dark backgrounds the Fashion TV logotype reverses dark grey out of the background colour.

  2. Backgrounds
    The corporate signature must always be clearly visible. The background should not be distracting and must always provide sufficient contrast for the brand to be clearly read.

CORPORATE SIGNATURE RESTRICTIONS

  1. Artwork Integrity
    The illustrations shown are violations of the corporate signature application and must be avoided. Never attempt to recreate or distort the logo as indicated.

    The corporate signatures must always be reproduced from original digital artwork supplied by the Creative Services Department.

TYPOGRAPHY

  1. Body copy
    The setting style for all type is upper case and should be left justified.

PRESS LAYOUTS

  1. Print Sizes
    Recommended print sizes are illustrated in the chart. The print sizes illustrated are recommended but are not mandatory.

  2. Imagery
    Any high quality type of visual imagery can be used. Recommended resolution is 300 dpi. Images should be approved by the Creative Services Department prior to its usage.

  3. Content requirement
    All marketing, promotional and sponsorship material must have the corporate signature, URL and contact details (if applicable).

  4. Font (if applicable)
    For application of URL and contact details, the font Open Sans (400) should be used.




Compliance statement
